The story is visually beautiful, but also contains some moral message conveyed in a the most simple form. The premise of this shows is an interesting spectacle for young viewers by inserting a humanitarian message without needing to be patronized. This animated short film is an example of how a simple premise can be developed into an interesting story while still holding a deep meaning regarding human destiny in facing the future and uncertain circumstances. The following is an example of a complete film story idea that was done using reverse engineering, by comparing the premise from IMDB then exploring the ideas using by forming them into premise, logline as well as the theme*.

Shape-Shifters

Deep in Afghanistan, two Marines with supernatural powers face a threat from one of their own kind.

This film is a combination of a werewolf story with modern warfare. The werewolf army takes revenge against terrorists who are also a group of werewolves. This film depicts a an ancient story of creatures of the night, trapped in a reality created by humans and one of them happnes to be an US army. The time told in the stroy is when the army is deployed in Afghanistan. The werewolves, who were depicted as group creatures who were always together, finally split due to the international ideology of "eradicating terrorism". On the one hand, we can see that the deep tribal brotherhood between Decker and Sobeiski finally ended with a massacre by Taliban werewolves. The pervasive ideology makes it a truth that is only believed, that families of brothers live together and die.

Logline; What would happen if werewolves were caught in a clash of human ideological wars?

Theme; If ideology has penetrated then the brotherhood can be torn apart.

Lucky 13

After the Lucky 13 drop-ship loses two crew members, there are no pilots to fly it... but the newbies have no choice.

Between superstitious and reality, there resides many myths. The number 13, which is believed to bring bad luck, became the spirit of a young pilot who wanted to save as many soldiers from the war. The spirit in a form of an old airplane that was considered unlucky because it had previously killed an entire crew. The plane's misfortune even had the name "winged coffin" but a young pilot took care of the plane and successfully carried out dangerous missions. Under pressure, the spirit turns the pilot into a fearful but calculating soldier.

Logline ; What happens if that bad luck comes to life?

Theme ; If you can nurture and care for them patiently and lovingly, then bad luck and curses can turn into goodness

The Secret Wars

An elite Red Army unit fights an unholy evil deep in the ancient forests of Siberia.

In many parts of region, supernatural powers is popular because it's considered a solution to many problem, but sometimes it cannot be controlled. A group of soldiers find out about a plague that is spreading in the cold city of Siberia and discover that there is a cursed creature that has begun to burrow into the ground and reproduce. What these soldiers had to do was an epic act of heroism for the sake of human survival. However, this magical phenomenon has never been revealed in history.

Logline ; What happens when elite soldiers during WWII fight the scariest creatures summoned from another world?

Theme ; If fatalism meets totality then the strongest is nihilism.

Drowned Giant

When a two hundred foot tall naked body washed up outside a small fishing village, a crowd gathered to witness the spectacle. A local scientist documents the leviathan's surrender to nature.

We all have different views that encourage us to do things differently. Scientists who want to interpret strange events in a small village, but everyone interprets it in different ways.

Logline; What happens if a giant corpse appears in a small village filled with people with simple minds?

Theme; If interpreted in the simplest way then it is a reflection of ourselves, humans.

Pop Squad

In a future where resources are controlled by the rich, “unregistered offspring” are prohibited by the state. A police officer tasked with enforcing population control faces a crisis of conscience.

The life of the elite on earth is increasingly rising beyond the clouds in the sky, they live in luxury and immortality with some exceptions. The problems of life boiled down to population control, human's children are hunted and killed. A leader of the baby hunting squad wanted to quit his job but he also can't give up his immortality. Of course killing babies is not something natural, as also making humans live long beyond normal limits. In this animated story, it will answer how do humans face the dilemma of the mechanisms of life?

Logline ; What would happen if the human population was controlled like livestock?

Theme ; If it's not natural it won't last long
